Cooking Gas Adjustments [June 22, 2026] — OGRA Revises Domestic LPG Cylinder Rates Upward

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has officially implemented a minor upward revision for Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) rates across the country. Following direct alignment with global energy benchmarks, the consumer price of LPG has been raised by 1.63%, presenting a marginal cost addition for households and small commercial kitchens.

The regulatory authority has fixed the new consumer price for LPG at Rs. 308.76 per kilogram, marking an increase of Rs. 4.96 per kg against last month's rate. Consequently, the widely used 11.8-kg domestic LPG cylinder now costs Rs. 3,643.41, a net increase of Rs. 58.51 per cylinder.

Official Weight & Price Matrix

  • LPG Rate Per Kilogram: Rs. 308.76 (Up from Rs. 303.80)

  • Domestic Cylinder (11.8 kg): Rs. 3,643.41 (Net increase of Rs. 58.51)

  • Commercial Cylinder (45.4 kg): Rs. 13,886.00 (Net increase of Rs. 225.00)

  • *The Price is Different for every city based on transport

Market Factor: According to OGRA's official briefing, local production pricing is structurally tied to the Saudi Aramco Contract Price (CP). A recent 2% uptick in the Saudi Aramco global benchmark drove the final local increase, even though the Pakistani Rupee remained highly competitive and minimized what could have been a much sharper domestic price surge.
